The Heart of Darkness Re-created Book Cover
Created in Adobe Photoshop, I was given the choice of a book and chose to re-create the book cover for “The Heart of Darkness.” The image of the eye was a photo I took of my own eye after accidentally smearing my eye liner and mascara on day.
True Love’s Kiss
Created in Adobe Photoshop, I complied three images (the beach, the kids, and the teenagers) into one design. I also experimented with levels and hue/saturation modes.
Tim Burton Collage
This was an image I created in Adobe Photoshop. The is about 12 separate images that I have collected after reviewing the filmography of Tim Burton; and in the Center of the moon, you can see an image of Burton himself.
Melissa’s Shoes
The original image was of the barefoot female teen in a down town scene. I put a pair of shoes on her and placed her in a busy New York City street scene. I did some blending modes and did much color manipulation.
Grandmother’s Photo Restored
I found this picture of my grandmother in a box of photos. It was distorted by tape glue and years of survival. So I scanned the image into the computer and brought it back to life by using the clone tool, blending modes, and colorization.
Sailor and His Father Restored
Another image I found in an old box of photos, it’s a photo of one of my uncles and my grandfather. I got rid of some scratches and fold creases and also added some color into the photo using many tools in Photoshop.
Witch’s Magic
This line art was something I found online. I decided to color it in using the tools, colorization, and blending modes and tools in Adobe Photoshop.
